Judith Glyde

Judith Glyde is a founding member of the Manhattan String Quartet. She left the Quartet at the end of the 1991-92 season to be Professor of Cello and Director of the String Quartet Program at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Glyde also performs as a soloist and guest artist with orchestras and festivals throughout the world. Her latest recording of Piston Chamber Music, recorded in Townsville, Australia, in the summer of 2000, recently won the Chamber Music America WQXR Recording of the Year.
